  1. DESCRIPTION: Your photos really capture the essence of line and repetition as well as pattern.
INTERPRETATION: These photos really do a great job of capturing the elements of art in different areas of UF.
JUDGEMENT: I think your photos were really successful in capturing the elements of line and pattern and you did a really good job of capturing them from different angles.

  2. The photos show a great emphasis on the use of line, perspective, and pattern, and a multitude of photos show recession into the background. Compositions are also very symmetrical and do well with contrast in terms of shadows and highlights.

A lot of focus on architectural elements and natural repeating patterns. Makes you quite aware of all of the symmetry that can be observed in day-to-day experiences.

I really enjoy each of the photos, especially those with a symmetrical frame that surrounds the subject matter. The photo of the TV on the wall containing the reflection gives a simple subject, but something interesting to see when you look at the warped image within the screen.

  3. Describe: you have several pictures of architecture around campus
Analyze: you have a lot of repetition in your architectural structure
Interpret: These spaces are very isolated and lack a human touch. A lot of them have a strong interaction between architectural structures and light. I think they are meant to display the beauty in simplicity
Judge: I think you did a good job with these. I like your compositions and your employment of natural light to highlight the lack of nature in the architecture. Keep it up!
